Renee Zellweger’s Real Estate Doubleheader!

Zellweger's Hamptons nest is a stunner in shingles.

Renee Zellweger, she of the mysterious changing face, has two homes up for sale at the moment. Zellweger, famous for roles in movies such as Chicago and the Bridget Jones series, is a homeowner several times over. Clearly, however, she’s trying to downsize.

Zellweger’s Hamptons nest is a stunner in shingles.

Zellweger just listed her gorgeous home in the East Hamptons, New York. The rustic-style historic farmhouse was built in 1900, and looks every bit of the adorable New England manse it is. There’s shingled siding, a wide front porch perfect for rocking chairs, a pool, and “mature gardens” set on a full acre of land, as well as a double garage with attached loft. Inside, the living space is sun-soaked and sports four bedrooms and three baths, all within about 2,000 square feet. The home is listed for $4,450,000

The second home Zellweger’s looking to sell off is another old New England beaut, this one in rural Pomfret, Connecticut. This old dame was built in 1770, and goes by the name The Cotton Tavern. It’s lovely, but proving hard to sell: it’s been on the market on and off since 2011 with no success. The country home is 3,400 square feet of whitewashed perfection, and the parcel includes a guest home, a “recreational barn,” a pool, and… a helicopter landing pad, because why not? The Tavern’s most recent asking price was $1.5 million. Zellweger has owned it since 2004, when she also bought the 39-acre plot next door.

If you are ballin’ like a movie star, perhaps your people could talk with Renee’s people and work out a sweetheart deal for both places?

…hey, daydreams are harmless. Right?
